Afternoon of Manifolds
animation | 2018 | 10 minutes
Afternoon of Manifolds is an experimental animation inspired by Debussy’s Prelude to the afternoon of a Faun with a Cagean influence and indeterminate slow curvatures in time. Informed by differential geometry and the physics of many phenomena in science and space, Forest of Manifolds seeks play in a confluence of geometric forms, hydrodynamics, and even ball bearings.
